- Bachelor’s in a relevant field
- Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Honours degree in a relevant field
- Relevant overseas Bachelor’s degree
Relevant fields include: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, IT, Maths, Software Engineering, or Statistics.
If you’re partway through a diploma and have relevant work experience, you’re still encouraged to apply. You’ll just need to show that you’ve completed at least a high school qualification or equivalent.
- IELTS Academic: Overall 6.0 (no band below 5.5)
- TOEFL iBT: Overall 79 (with at least 22 in writing)
- PTE Academic: Overall score of 57 (no skill below 50)
- Successful completion of an approved English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program
- One year of full-time study (within the last 5 years) in a country where English is the official language and sole medium of instruction
- A pass in an approved English subject at Australian Year 12 level (or recognised equivalent)
- Current registration with a recognised body (e.g. AHPRA, NESA) with English requirements equivalent to or higher than UNE’s standards
