About this degree

Transform your leadership skills with a top-ranked MBA

Ranked amongst the top online MBAs in 2025 by CEO Magazine, this renowned MBA programme from the University of Liverpool is designed to enhance your existing expertise and develop your strategic leadership capabilities.

Studying alongside fellow high-calibre managers, you’ll discuss and debate the challenges posed by the rapidly evolving commercial world.

The programme encourages you to analyse and reflect on your own organisation and role. This will help you apply theory to case studies of other organisations, and to benefit from peer-to-peer learning through collaboration with fellow professionals from other cultures and industries worldwide.

Master global business strategies and tailor your MBA

Core modules focus on the macro-economic environment that heavily shapes organisational decision-making, management, and leadership. They explore various theories and models underlying the growth of international trade and globalisation, and the practical applied nature of this.

The MBA also provides the opportunity to tailor your educational journey with optional modules reflective of different business disciplines. This includes the option to dive into the rapidly developing field of data and analytics or investigate the ethical perspective of business decision-making.

Elevate your business expertise for ethical leadership

The MBA is designed to enhance and develop your previous relevant experience in business and management. It will also provide opportunities for you to become more skilled and confident in your ability to lead and manage others, ethically and responsibly, and address complex business issues in a range of contexts.

Across the programme, this will be achieved through activities and assessments, which enable you to engage with work-based issues to apply to your own context.

The underpinning philosophy of authentic assessment will ensure assignments are meaningful and enable the development of employability attributes relevant to professional managers.
