Additional information

To enrol, candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed a Global Diploma in Culinary Arts or possess equivalent industry experience of at least 5 years. English proficiency, internet access, and basic digital literacy are also necessary.

Please note that to complete this online programme, you’ll need to have the necessary kitchen equipment and technological requirements.

This diploma prepares you for leadership roles in the culinary industry, from Chef de Partie to kitchen manager. You’ll develop expertise in food safety, resource management, and service excellence, equipping you to excel in diverse culinary environments.
  • Chef de Partie: Take responsibility for a particular section of the kitchen, managing the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standards.
  • Culinary Entrepreneur: Leverage your skills and knowledge to establish and run your own culinary business.
  • Kitchen Manager: Oversee kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure health and safety standards are meticulously followed.
  • Corporate Chef: Work with large entities to plan and execute culinary operations for corporate settings.

Our Advanced Diploma in Kitchen Supervision is a flexible programme, offering you the autonomy to balance study with personal and professional commitments. Spanning over a recommended 12-month period (including a two-week holiday), the course consists of 1200 notional hours.

This structure allows you to engage in hands-on learning while accommodating your individual scheduling needs. Assessment is conducted through coursework and practical evaluations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical concepts and their application in the culinary field.

This microcredential consists of theory assessments submitted for grading and feedback and 2 projects, one of which is planning and catering for an event demonstrating advanced cooking skills whilst working in a commercial kitchen and the other is to develop and launch a food product.

Upon completion, you’ll receive a globally recognised diploma in kitchen management, equipping you with the skills, knowledge, and digital certification to advance in the culinary industry.
